Surgical Errors
Surgical Errors: Make Your Case Known
When doctors take the Hippocratic Oath they swear to practice medicine ethically and by all means necessary provide their patients with the best care to their ability. From the patient’s point of view we entrust our lives to them, putting faith in their ability and knowledge to help us enjoy the best quality life possible. When medical negligence occurs however, such as surgical errors, it is the patient and the family of the patient that suffers the most. More so, such negligent acts could lead to the patient suffering with a life-long condition, scar or worst still, the death of a patient.
Even the simplest of mistakes could have devastating effects and if this be the case than reporting the surgeon to the Medical Council would be your responsibility as patient. Be aware though that not all cases are won and some cases may carry on for years, but as a South African citizen you have the right to stand up for yourself and make your case known. By doing so you might also just prevent any surgical errors from occurring again and thus prevent somebody else from suffering the same fate, therefore we urge you to take action.
Have you suffered because of surgical errors and want to seek recourse? Then contact Adele van der Walt Attorneys. By providing us with as much evidence as possible we will be able to take the necessary steps against the medical professional that caused you suffering and pain and together, with the help of our experienced attorneys, we will take your case on with dedication and passion until the very end.
